Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

WEEE regulations are European law and the UK is required to increase the amount of WEEE being treated and recovered in an effort to stop it going into landfill sites. To aid this we offer a collection and take back service. Customers buying goods over the internet can return their WEEE to us; however the customer will have to fund the cost of returning their WEEE. The cost of having an item collected varies depending on the size and weight of the WEEE, so if you are a customer and you would like to return your WEEE contact us (weee@itmustbegreen.co.uk) and we can tell you have much you will have to pay. It Must be Green will then dispose of any WEEE collected from our customers in a safe manner, which helps to reduce the amount of WEEE being disposed in landfill sites.

Some products will have been in use for many years before becoming WEEE. Products manufactured in previous years may contain significantly higher amounts of hazardous substances than they would if they were manufactured today. It Must Be Green will identify such products and substances and inform our customers. Such products can contaminate water and soil if left in landfill sites, and that this in turn can have a detrimental effect on human health and the environment.

Customers must also take note of the crossed out wheelie bin symbol on any product: It is to inform consumers that any product marked with the symbol was made after 13th August 2005. Products marked with this symbol are classed as WEEE when they are no longer needed, and should be disposed of separately to household waste. The symbol can be seen by CLICKING HERE.
