Customer reviewI am really impressed at the way the music play options are implemented. I was surprised to even learn that the random function can be as global in scope or as narrow in scope as you want - i.e. you can enable it under the main play and it will be random across both SDHC & internal memory, enable it in the SDHC menu Play Now and it only applies for the SDHC, enable it for a specific folder of mp3's and it only applies for the folder, etc. Very cool! Between the actual folder/file views of SDHC & Internal memory, the Artists/Albums menus, the Favourites and Queues, I think just about every possible way you could want to play your music has been implemented!! This is a MAJOR positive!! :) I wish the album art was bigger, but I realize the screen's only so big and has a lot of important things to show.
I really am very impressed at the quality of each of the options on the player. I've already mentioned the music player, Photo viewer works well at making the pictures look good even on the small screen, radio works well and is easy-to-use, ebook works :) and I like the day/night mode!, settings are clear & logically layed out, etc. I haven't messed with Video yet, but I like that it's in a more standard format (xvid AVI) as opposed to the MX71. I also like that I can keep music or radio playing while moving through menus, etc. Oh, and I LOVE the battery life!!!!!!!! Plus, I can't tell you how great it is to know that even if the battery life is low, all I have to do is hand-charge it for a minute or two and I'm back in business. Thank you for producing a smart, innovative product that works great and manages to look cool too!
