Using natural paints and wood finishes dramatically decreases toxins in your household.

AURO has very good environmental credentials being carefully formulated and produced in an accredited CO2 neutral factory. AURO offer muted and pastel colours using only plant and mineral pigments. Auro paints are minimal VOC (volatile organic compounds). They use vegetable oil resins, are biodegradable and leave a more pleasant smell in newly decorated rooms. They are also mirco-porous, allowing walls to breathe. We also do a range of wood finishes from gloss and semi gloss finishes to wood stains for external fences and loads of floor finishes as well.

We always recommend buying enough paint in the same batch to complete a job as some small variation may be apparent between different batches. Natural paint emulsions are applied and behave exactly the same as petro-chemical paints so treat them the same, however wood surfaces may need to prepared a little bit more especially if previously painted with acrylics or PU varnish.
