The HY-Mini takes alternative energy provision to a whole new level - it's your very own personal wind turbine. Recharge the internal NiMh batteries by wind power, USB or mains charger (all included). The stored energy can be used to charge mobile phones, Ipods, etc. Includes connectors for most mobile telephones and USB devices. Using the optional connection systems, the HYmini can be connected to your bicycle or to your upper arm, using the armband accessory (Bicycle connector and armband connector sold separately).

HYmini is a handheld, universal charger/adapter device that harnesses renewable wind power and conventional wall plug power to recharge almost all your 5V digital gadgets
as with a hybrid automobile, more than one power source is used to collect energy. HYmini stores energy collected from a wall plug, renewable DC input, and wind
the energy stored in its internal battery can be used to recharge your cell phone, MP3 player, iPod, PDA, digital camera or other 5V devices

I was bought this and thought it was a bit of a gimmick - but imagine my surprose when it actually works! If you cycle to work as I do, you may as well get one of these and then you'll never need to plug your phone charger into the mains ever again.
