This is Ecosavers new energy standby system. It's the Value kit model and comprises of:

With this product you can turn off your electrical devices simply by using the remote control, cutting off the electric power. Using the Ecosavers’ system your device will not be left in standby mode and will therefore savestandby power consumption of all the devices connected to the remote socket.

Flexibility with the EcoSavers system

The Standby Remote Control from EcoSavers® combines energy saving with the luxury of switching your electrical devices on or off by remote control. With this product you can turn off your electrical devices simply by using the remote control, cutting off the electric power. Using the Ecosavers’ system your device will not be left in standby mode and will therefore savestandby power consumption of all the devices connected to the remote socket. The base-set comes with a remote control and either one or three remote sockets, depending on the pack purchased. You can add additional remote sockets (available deparately) for operating with one single remote control. Several sockets can be controlled by the same on/off (zone) switch of the remote control, offering many combinations of use. Easy to set up, each remote socket can be programmed (self learning) to react to either button (zone) 1,2,3 or 4. Enjoy the luxury of remote controlled switching on/off and save energy! The remote control operates on radio frequency, so the sockets can be placed out of sight if required.

I was given the Standby Buster as a gift and found it really useful. When I came to add more units to it, I came across the Ecosavers version and as it was cheaper I bought it. Having got it, it looks exactly the same and seems to do exactly the same - so all in all, great (and I saved myself £10!).
